The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported robbery at the Sunoco on S. Transit Road in Lockport.
The clerk at the store reported that a man came in around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday and demanded money from the cash register. The man never showed a weapon, but the clerk said he did have his hand in his pocket as if he had one. The clerk handed over cash, and the man ran away towards Robinson Road.
Police are describing the man as a white male, about 5'8'' tall with a thin build, and said he was wearing gray jeans, a dark-colored hoodie, blue beanie, white sneakers, and had a scarf wrapped around his face. The Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crime.
