She was an amazing baby girl whose time on this earth was short, but her impact, everlasting.

We're sad to report the passing of Baby Diana Seneca.

Diana was born on January 1st, 2018, with a rare neurological condition called, Holoprosencephaly (HPE).  The condition causes birth defects, facial deformities and other life-altering issues.

We first met the Seneca family soon after Diana's birth, when her mother's cell phone disappeared while the family was at Oishei Children's Hospital.

Jessica Seneca's phone, which contained numerous photos of Baby Diana, has never been recovered.

After that story aired, Western New Yorkers rallied in support of the family, dropping off blankets, baby clothes and offering rewards for the phone.

In late January, a photographer who volunteers with the group, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, took priceless new photos of Baby Dianawith her loving family.

"She's taught me how to be stronger and taught me that pretty much anything that comes at you, you can make it through," said Jessica Seneca when we spoke with her during that photo shoot in January.

Final arrangements are still being made.  A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help the family with these end of life expenses.

Rest in Peace Baby Diana.
