Developers have their sights set on the future of the soon-to-be-empty Women and Children's Hospital in Buffalo.
Kaleida Health says five developers have have proposed plans for the Bryant Street building. Ciminelli Real Estate, Ellicott Development, Pyramid Brokerage out of Syracuse, Sinatra & Company Real Estate and Uniland Development have all submitted proposals.
The plans include housing, lodging, retail and more.
The Oishei Children's Hospital is currently under construction on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, and will open in late 2017 to replace the nearly 125-year-old Bryant Street facility.
