Jamestown Police say a woman was assaulted and held against her will for three hours during a home invasion Tuesday morning.
Police say a suspect came into the woman's home through an unlocked door. Eventually the woman was able to break free and call 911, and the suspect ran away. That person was found a short time later, after police spoke with witnesses and searched the area with a K9 team.
Police didn't say what street it happened on, but say it occurred in southwest Jamestown. They're reminding residents across the area to keep their doors locked.
