Police searching for stolen safe

The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is searching for the people who stole a safe from the Town of Sherman Office building September 15th.

They say the men broke into the building around midnight night and stole the safe.  Inside was important cemetery documents that police say are "worth nothing to a person but priceless to the Sherman Township."

The Sheriff's Office has released a number of surveillance photos from that night.  They're hoping someone can help identify the people involved.  Two separate rewards are being offered in connection with that case.  WE TIP is offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.  Anyone who knows anything can call 1-800-782-7463.  The second reward is from the Town of Sherman for $1,000.  Investigator Randy Boland is working the case, and can be reached at 716-753-4925 or boland@sheriff.us.
