A Tonawanda man is accused of choking a woman and pushing her into a bedroom during a domestic incident early Sunday morning.
City of Tonawanda Police charged 31-year-old Nicholas Mombrea with unlawful imprisonment, menacing, harassment and possession of marijuana. They say he choked the woman and prevented her from leaving a bedroom in an apartment on Young Street.
She was able to call 911. When police arrived, they found a bag of marijuana in Mombrea's back pocket. He'll answer to those charges in court.
