Lewiston Police have identified the man who died in a construction accident Tuesday.
Police say Timothy Zayac, 56, was trapped on a lift. He was pinned between the lift and the eaves area of the building, according to officials. He lost consciousness and stopped breathing.
The incident happened at 140 North 6th Street in the Village of Lewiston and has so far been ruled an accident, according to police. However, investigation is ongoing.
Officers say an autopsy was performed Wednesday morning at Erie County Medical Center, but there are no results yet.
No charges are pending at this time.
