New York State Parks Police are working an investigation between the Rainbow Bridge and the Niagara Falls Discovery Center.
Police were searching in the area around the Niagara Scenic Parkway.
At this point, police have not said what they were looking for. They have not said what caused them to investigate, or why.
It's unclear if any other agencies are involved in the investigation.
