An employee of the Iroquois Central School District has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced Tuesday that Kevin D. Waczkowski, 31, of Elma, was arrested back on April 15th after an undercover, online investigation. A search warrant was executed at Waczkowski's home and 2 computers were seized. Investigators say that they were able to recover images of child pornography from these computers.
Waczkowski works as a maintenance technician with the Iroquois Central School District. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum of 20 years and a fine of $250,000.
