Hamburg Police have identified the man accused of holding up a gas station with a semi-automatic hand gun.
Police say Jesse Bettencourt walked into a gas station about 8:30 Wednesday night and demanded all the money in the cash register. Bettencourt, from Brockton, Massachusetts, had a semi-automatic hand gun, according to police.
Hamburg Police say they worked with police in North Dakota, where they say Bettencourt's getaway car was stolen from. He was driving a dark red Ford Edge with license plates JYW439.
A warrant has now been issued for Bettencourt's arrest. The man is still on the run and police say he is dangerous.
Police did not say what gas station Bettencourt robbed.
If you see him or the car call Hamburg Police.
