Imprisoned former Buffalo police officer Robert Eloff will be released from federal prison on May 12. This new information was posted on the Bureau of Prisons website.
Eloff surrendered to federal authorities last week in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Last year, Eloff was sentenced to three months in federal prison and three months home confinement, having admitted to arresting a man at Mollys Pub, under false pretenses, the night Bill Sager was gravely hurt in 2014.
A civil lawsuit is still pending against Eloff and the City of Buffalo.
