Calls her show a "labor of love"

It's probably not unusual to find pictures of Italy in an Italian Restaurant. What makes the images hanging at Marco's Restaurant on Niagara Street special is that they were all taken by one person with no touch-ups and no Photoshopping.

Lisa Grisanti-Garcia doesn't consider herself a professional photographer saying "I do this as a hobby." which is interesting because she has already sold a few of these pieces. Her first one-woman show of her work is called "Italy and Sicily: A Journey".

Lisa made her first visit to Italy with her great grandmother and her dad when she was ten years old. She reconnected with that family thirty years later and has been taking pictures eve since. She visits Italy every couple of years. Having her show at Marco's is a return to her roots too, she says "I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a child."

Lisa is the marketing director for the Theatre of Youth. She calls her photography "a hobby, a labor of love and a personal journey."
