Amherst Police are investigating a pedestrian-involved accident that happened Tuesday morning.
Police say a 47-year-year-old man from Tonawanda was driving in a parking lot in the plaza at 3500 Main Street when he hit a 26-year-old woman.
It happened just after 5 p.m.
The woman was brought to Erie County Medical Center with a chest injury.
The accident is under investigation but no charges have been filed.
