BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — There's good news for drivers in Western New York this week.

Gas prices have dropped following a recent spike due to the recent events in Saudi Arabia, which saw an increase at the pump across Western New York, according to AAA of Western and Central New York.

The average price per gallon in Buffalo dropped two cents from last week making it $2.70 a gallon.

The national and state averages also dropped, this time to $2.65 per gallon across the country, and $2.74 in the state.
