BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Rapper and Buffalo native Westside Gunn is set to open a "Buffalo Kids" store at the Walden Galleria.

This will be the first brick and mortar location for Buffalo Kids, which has an assortment of Buffalo sports T-shirts, sweatshirts and jerseys. It will be on the lower level near Starbucks.

Buffalo Kids was founded by Gunn and other local rappers Conway the Machine (his brother) and Benny the Butcher (his cousin).

In 2014 Gunn founded Griselda Records and clothing brand Fashion Rebel. In 2017 Griselda Records signed a music deal with Eminem Shady Records, a subsidiary of Interscope, putting the Buffalo natives on the national hip-hop radar. In 2019 Gunn and Benny the Butcher signed a management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation.

The store will have Buffalo Kids and Westside Gunn apparel, his wrestling company's clothing line Fourth Rope, and items from Griselda by Fashion Rebels. Meet and greet events will also be hosted at the store.

“This is one of the most exciting times of my life. Growing up in Buffalo, Walden Galleria has always been the premier shopping center. At age 14, I started designing clothing and I’ve always been taught the sky’s the limit,” said Westside Gunn. “I wanted to bring a lifestyle brand for the people and give them the highest quality garments at a high fashion designer level. I breathe art and this will give the city something to be proud of. I will do my best to provide experiences the town has never seen before. Thank you for supporting Griselda and now, I present to you, Buffalo Kids.”

Gunn tweeted earlier this month a grand opening is set for March 6.
