WEST FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 34-year-old West Falls manis being held in Wyoming County Jail on $500,000 after being charged with one count of predatory sexual assault against a child.

Nicholas B. Turnquist was arrested by the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office at his Reading Road residence on Wednesday after a search warrant was executed at his home. Turnquist, who used to live in the Town of Java in Wyoming County, was arraigned in Wyoming County Court before being committed to the Wyoming County Jail.

Deputies were assisted in the execution of the search warrant by members of the East Aurora Police Department and the FBI. Information regarding the nature of Turnquist's alleged crime have not been provided.
