BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Grab your clubs, the Paddock Chevrolet Golf Dome in the Town of Tonawanda is set to re-open this Friday.

It was announced at the board meeting Monday night that the dome will be back open Friday morning at 8:00 a.m.

The dome came down over the summer to make way for a new one.

This 95 thousand square foot structure has a new dome and all new turf and appliances. Though the dome itself has been up for two months, the Superintendent of Parks & Recreation in Town of Tonawanda says it couldn't open due to some minor complications.

"We're in Buffalo so the temperature isn't quite to where we need it to be," Mark Campanella said. "We like to keep it 70 degrees and over, right now in the building it's 62 degrees."

While the dome does cater to golfers, it also available for other sports including soccer, volleyball, baseball and kickball. The golf dome is set to be open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting Friday, December 27.
