Victim identified in deadly West Seneca crash

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police have identified the 38-year-old woman who died in a single-car crash involving an alleged drunk driver.

Authorities say Corinne Bennet of West Seneca was a back seat passenger in the car and was ejected when it crashed in the area of 1720 Southwestern Boulevard Sunday morning.

The driver, 33-year-old Daniel Witczakm has been charged with DWI and further charges are pending, according to police. He suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident.

Two other passengers were also hurt. One is expected to be okay. The other is being treated for serious injuries at ECMC.
