UB student pleads guilty to November 2018 hit-and-run

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A University at Buffalo student pleaded guilty Thursday to a November 2018 hit-and-run that left another student in critical condition.

Erie County District Attorney John Flynn announced 20-year-old Hannah Christensen of Clifton Park, NY pleaded guilty to one count of leaving the scene of an incident without reporting.

Christensen struck a fellow 20-year-old student on the night of November 1st, 2018 on Hadley Road on UB's North Campus, she left the scene and didn't report the incident.

The student was at ECMC for several weeks after suffering a fractured pelvis and a fractured skull.

Christensen faces a year in jail when she is sentenced in July.
