Two teens arrested on murder charges in deadly Niagara Falls fire

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara County District Attorney's Office says two teenagers have been arrested on second degree murder charges relating to a deadly fire in Niagara Falls.

18-year-old Zachary Preisch and 18-year-old Damion Ellis were charged after a fire on Niagara Street killed Ward Schaal on July 6th.

Both Preisch and Ellis were charged with arson in the first degree as well.

Ellis and Preisch both entered not guilty pleas and bail was set at $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond.

They will return to court on August 28th.
