BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) — The Trocaire College Distilling and Fermentation course is now going virtual. Covid concerns were the reason that program director Erik Coleman transformed the existing course into a modular based instruction.
Erik has more than twenty-five years of brewing experience and says that the course is perfect for people who want to get into the brewing industry as well as hobbyists. He says "It's a lot of fun and the thing about brewing is that it's hands on."
Classes begin November 2. Erik says there is a meet the instructors event October 20th on Facebook that will be live from Buffalo Distilling.
Erik says "Trocaire will also offer a Level 1 Cicerone Certification running the first two Saturdays of December. This is available to anyone looking to increase their knowledge about craft beer and how best to handle it and enjoy it."
