HAMBURG, NY WKBW-TV — She drives a very cool truck and has an obvious entrepreneurial spirit. Let's face it, when you show up with a truck full of flowers, people are just glad to see you. Two years ago Samantha Reidy started her flower business on wheels called Petal Pusher.
Her first goal was to get a VW Transporter, a fairly rare classic truck. Samantha bought a 1963 version and fixed it up. She says "I had it refurbished and the color I picked out was actually the original color they came in."
Samantha says the truck and her fresh flowers are both attention-getters, adding "I get the old timers talking shop about the truck, and the ladies talking about the flowers."
Her fifty-seven year old truck does not have a lot of frills "no radio or air-conditioning" but Samantha says she likes driving it "It's really fun to drive."
