HAMBURG, NY (WKBW-TV) — Stephanie Haak opened her Hamburg boutique bakery in March. While her business boasts a variety of beautiful baked goods, it's her cake creations that really "take the cake".
It looks like a giant roast beef on weck, a Buffalo favorite. It's actually a cake creation that lit up the internet when Stephanie posted pictures of it. Complete with rare "roast beef", "Horseradish" and a "Pickle" it's all actually Stephanie's cake art.
She says "It turned out really well and people started sending it to other people, and they were like 'oh what a nice sandwich' and I'm no-'it's a cake' and then they had to show pictures of cutting into it to believe it."
She can make birthday and wedding cake but it's her "food cakes" that provide a fun challenge. On her Facebook page you'll see her latest creations including her roast turkey cake and a cake that looks like a giant cannoli.
