Jack Reid fired up the family business in 1946. Jack's grandson Jonathan started working there two decades ago. After almost 75 years on the same spot Reid's Drive-In is a Lockport institution.

Not much as changed over the years. Jonathan says "we try to get the customers in and out, we try to keep the food as cheap as we can and we try to make the best food that we can."

Burgers are the big seller according to Jonathan but they also put out plenty of fries, hot dogs and shakes as well.

Reid's is no "fair weather" family restaurant. They are open year round. Over the years it has been called a "drive-in", a "burger and hot dog joint" and a "fast food place" but most loal customers just call it "delicious".

Reid's Drive-In: 150 Lake Avenue, Lockport, NY you can find them on Facebook.
