BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A popular Buffalo restaurant is the latest to face temporary closure due to COVID-19.

Amy's Place, a University Heights mainstay, announced on Thursday it was closing for an "undetermined amount of time."

The restaurant is known for its vegan and vegetarian options. It had initially stayed open by offering takeout options and later limited seating as New York entered phased reopening.

Amy's Place opened on Main Street in 1981.
