DEPEW, N.Y. {WKBW-TV) — The Ghost Hunting Business has been so good that Joe Pieri had to find a bigger space for his Paranormal Oddities. Joe got into this line of work because he likes to hunt for ghosts. He says "It's something new. It's uncharted waters. I find it fascinating."
The shop is about three years old, but last year he moved across the street to a larger space. Joe says "The business has grown. Our supplies are low at times."
There is no shortage of Tarot Cards here or skulls. The store features all kinds of ghost hunting goodies. Joe says he suggest that newbies start with reading a book or two by local authors, adding "that will show you all the local haunts."
The expansion has allowed for the addition of a room that can rented out by mediums and Tarot card readers. There is also an event room where workshops are held. "Here we create sugar skulls, healing trees and voodoo dolls" Joe says.
