BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Local students are getting a first-hand look at the growing opportunities in Buffalo’s manufacturing sector.
The Northland Workforce Training Center paired groups of students fromsix different schoolswith partner companies.
The students were asked to make a video that explains “what's so cool about manufacturing.”
A total of four awards were handed out on Thursday evening.
The awards were distributed as follows:
- Outstanding Editing – Buffalo Arts Academy
- Outstanding Creativity – LaSalle Preparatory School
- Outstanding Story – Sweet Home Middle School
- Viewer’s Choice – Buffalo Arts Academy
