BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The NFTA announced Wednesday afternoon updates to their transport services due to the blizzard conditions and travel bans.

While there will still be service throughout the day, some outbound routes will be removed where there are no riders. For Thursday, January 31st, routes #70, #72, #74 and #76 will not operate. This is express service to East Aurora, Hamburg and Orchard Park.

For Metro Rail customers, starting at 6pm Wednesday, the rail will operate ever 20 minutes until the end of the service day. This is to help snow removal on the tracks.

In addition, all flights in and out of Buffalo Airport have been canceled tonight. Check in with your airline for the latest information on flights.
