SALINA, N.Y. (WKBW) — State troopers are reminding drivers to change lanes and slow down when they're approaching a stopped emergency vehicle after a vehicle crashed into a parked state police cruiser, injuring an officer.

The crash happened in the Syracuse area on State Route 370. The New York State Police posted photos of the crash to social media Wednesday. According to authorities, the officer suffered minor injuries.

A violation of the "Move Over Law" is considered a moving violation and a driver could be fined up to $400 for multiple offenses and receive three points on their driving record.
