BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The U.S. Attorney's Office in Buffalo says a New Jersey man has pleaded guilty to child pornography and cyberstalking charges.

35-year-old Timothy Myers allegedly used the names “CJ Mikowski” and “Colin James,” to communicate through Facebook with five minor girls who lived in the Western New York, between December 2016 and August 2017.

The attorney's office says Myers then coerced or attempted to coerce, each of the minor girls, who ranged from 13-16 years old, into sending sexually explicit visual depictions of themselves.

Additionally, Myers also transported one victim from New York state to New Jersey and engaged in sexual intercourse with her, and distributed sexually explicit images of her over Facebook.

Myers while living in New Jersey and using the alias Colin James, contacted one of the victims through Facebook and made her believe she was in a relationship with him, between March and August 2017.

The attorney's office says these victims suffered substantial emotional distress as a result of Myers’ repeated and sustained harassment.

When convicted, Myers faces a minimum of 15 years in prison a maximum of 35, and a $250,000 fine.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 17th.
