LETCHWORTH STATE PARK, NY (WKBW-TV — When the COVID crisis put a damper on live programming at Letchworth State Park, Conrad Baker went into action on the internet. He started producing "Nature Detectives" segments on Facebook.

Conrad, who grew up on Grand Island, is an intern at the park and a member of the Student Conservation Association. After obtaining a degree in English from SUNY Geneseo, he's now on track to become an Outdoor Educator.

Over the past few months his fun, upbeat and educational segments have been teaching viewers how to a be "Nature Detectives".

Conrad says "I try with Nature Detectives to get kids in their neighborhood exploring where they live."

The segments appear on the Letchworth State Park FaceBook page. By day you can find Conrad usually at the Humphrey Nature Center.
