BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) — There are wall to wall guitars and other string instruments being loaded into the Buffalo Museum of Science.
Marisa Wigglesworth, director of museum, is pretty excited about the soon to open exhibit, saying "Guitars-they are incredibly exciting and engaging. They have so many stories to tell and so much science to communicate"
The exhibit is called "Medieval to Metal: The Art and Evolution of the Guitar". There are about forty instruments represented here including the first electric guitar from Hawaii and an old string instrument made from an armadillo.
Marisa says the show will be entertaining for all ages "There's incredible stories about how people all over the world have influenced this instrument." adding "the headbangers are going to love it and the history buffs are going to love it."
