Man shot in the chest in Town of Tonawanda on Friday, police searching for shooter

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Town of Tonawanda Police Department is looking for information in connection to a shooting in the area of Kenmore Avenue and Truesdale Road on Friday night.

According to Chief James Stauffiger, the attack happened around 10 p.m. A 53-year-old man was shot in the chest.

The man was found by police and taken to the hospital. Chief Stauffiger reported the man's injuries were not life-threatening.
