BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A bail hearing was conducted Wednesday in the case of the People v. Shane Casado.
In November, 24-year-old Casado was arrested for murder after police said he fatally shot girlfriend Rachael Wierzbicki on Edson Street in South Buffalo. He was remanded without bail.
On February 1st, Casado was again arraigned and remanded without bail, but a future bail hearing a set for March 6th.
At Wednesday's bail hearing, Judge Michalski granted $175,000 bail. Casado posted bail Wednesday afternoon.
The next court date is March 15 for further proceedings.
