YOUNGSTOWN, NY (WKBW-TV) — Old Fort Niagara will kick into high gear this weekend with their annual Living History Weekend.
Included in this two day event will be demonstrations on period cooking, blacksmithing, fur trading, eighteenth century laundry, military music and artillery.
According to Executive Director Robert Emerson, visitors here enjoy stepping back in time, saying "The way they did things in the past fascinates moderns. We live in a world of gadgets. It's just interesting to see how people did things without technology."
Also expect military music this weekend. They are asking that visitors be safe by wearing facial coverings and practicing social distancing.
