LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Lancaster company has announced several dozen employees will lose their jobs by next year.

Just last year, Buffalo Filter was looking to instead fill 60 positions.

But in February, the company announced that 15 employees would be laid off over the course of this year.

Now, Buffalo Filter has filed a notice with the State Labor Department showing that 24 more employees will soon lose their jobs. Most of these will be by the start of next year.

Buffalo Filter cites economic reasons for both rounds of layoffs.
