JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WKBW) — Jamestown police are warning parents of another suspicious incident near a Jamestown school.
Police say two students were approached by two suspicious males on Front Street near Lincoln Elementary School Thursday. The students reported the men followed them as they walked to school and attempted to engage in conversation.
The students notified the school principal and Jamestown police say they are continuing to investigate.
This is the second suspicious incident police have reported near a Jamestown school within a week.
On October 29 police said two students were walking to Ring School when two white males in a white van drove up to them on Hotchkiss Street near Clyde Avenue and attempted to engage them in conversation. Officials say the students did not talk with the males and continued on to school.
