KENMORE, NY {WKBW-TV} — Jack Horohoe is back on the radio airwaves after a 49-year hiatus. He said "I was back on the air yesterday for the first time in forty-nine years."

Jack says "I thought maybe it was time to go back on the radio." Jacks radio career began in the 1960's with stints at WNIA and WBLK. In 1968 he began doing mid days for WEBR. He left the business in 1973 to get into real estate and raise a family.

Jack got a call from the program manager, Don Angelo and agreed to come out of retirement and return to mid days at the new WEBR at 1440 on the radio dial. He says "I'm not doing it for the money, I'll tell you that. It's something I really enjoy doing, I really do."

Jack has never really been out of the limelight. Over the years he's done voice over work, commercials and numerous stage productions as an actor.

Now that he's back on the air Monday through Friday, noon to 3PM he says "my wife's happy I'm out of the house for 3 hours a day she can do her thing to y'know it's working out rather well I enjoy it."
