WILLIAMSVILLE, NY (WKBW-TV) — For a couple of decades Western New York's Frankie Scinta has been performing in Las Vegas. Because of COVID, his latest roadshow called "The Showman" has been on hold. He says "I'm working with a thirty-two piece orchestra and we are booked nationwide as soon as we get the go."
Meanwhile, Frankie has found a new performance venue on Facebook. Since last March he's been giving weekly live concerts from his home in Las Vegas and available for anyone to watch on Facebook.
The performer says he wasn't sure about the virtual performing idea but his family talked him into it. "I thought, who the hell is going to want to watch me on Facebook."
The concerts have proven to be crowd pleasers. Scinta fans far and wide have been tuning in Saturday Nights at 9PM. He says "we have nineteen thousand views."
The performances are partly planned "part ad lib" and in Frankie's works, "they are a blast".
