BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) — The workshop is called "Walk & Capture" and it's an opportunity for individuals to work with a professional photographer.

Aitina Fareed-Cooke heads up the program. The award-winning photographer says "I tell them to look at a camera as you look at life. You are making decisions and capturing a moment".

The focus of the workshops is the city's East Side neighborhoods. Aitina says "There's a lot of unique things and spaces that people may not know, diamonds in the rough".

Walk & Capture is sponsored by AARP, Buffalo Center for Heath Equity, LISC of Western New York and CEPA Gallery.

More information and the photos taken by the participants available at Aitina's Get Fokus'd Productions website.
