BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A technical error with a ticket sales company caused frustration for Billy Joel fans trying to score tickets to the big concert at New Era Field.
According to Live Nation, numerous American Express cardholders were unable to buy pre-sale tickets because of an error with Ticketmaster processing orders.
Live Nation says the error has been fixed. American Express cardholders can buy tickets through the ticket sales company without issue.
Pre-sale tickets went on sale Monday morning at 10.
The Piano Man will bring his decades-long hit parade to New Era Field in Orchard Park on August 15 at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, November 22 at 10 a.m. through livenation.com or Ticketmaster. Prices will range from $64.50 to $184.50.
