ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Billy Joel will be in a Buffalo, New York State of Mind next summer.
The Piano Man will bring his decades-long hit parade to New Era Field in Orchard Park on August 15 at 8 p.m.
American Express card members can buy tickets beginning Monday, November 18th at 10 a.m.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, November 22 at 10 a.m. through livenation.com or Ticketmaster. Prices will range from $64.50 to $184.50.
Joel, 70, last appeared in Buffalo at what was then HSBC Arena in March 2010 alongside friend and fellow music legend Elton John. The duo appeared together at Rich Stadium in July 1994.
The summer concert at the home of the Bills will be one of several stops in 2020 that will turn stadiums into stages for the five-time Grammy winner. Joel will play Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte in April, Notre Dame Stadium in June, Comerica Park in Detroit on July 10 and Fenway Park in Boston on August 28.
It will also mark the latest concert tour hosted by Pegula Sports and Entertainment at New Era Field. Since 2015, the stadium has hosted the Rolling Stones, U2, Jay-Z and Beyonce and the Jonas Brothers.
