ERIE COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Police Reform and Reinvention task force has completed a draft plan outlining recommendations on changes to law enforcement in our area.
The report is part of an executive order requiring all police agencies statewide to implement new strategies by April 1st. Task force members want public input before it is finalized.
The draft includes recommendations like additional training for law enforcement on issues like domestic violence and mental health.
