Erie County Sheriff's Deputy arraigned on prostitution charge

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — An Erie County Sheriff's Deputy has been charged with promoting prostitution in Lancaster.

Prosecutors say Deputy Wallace Waliczek promoted the prostitution of his wife, Melissa. Even though the pair live together, the judge granted an order of protection in court Tuesday. Wallace is to have no communication with his wife regarding this case and is not allowed to talk about prostitution.

In October, Melissa Waliczek was arraigned on prostitution charges in Buffalo City Court.

Court Documents obtained by 7 Eyewitness News show the wife met up with an undercover detective in the parking lot of the Flix movie theater in Lancaster in early August. Paperwork shows she agreed to give the undercover deputy oral sex have sex with a condom in exchange for $150.00.

Court documents show in August, Wallace used his cell phone and arranged for his wife to meet with the undercover detectives for prostitution.

He is suspended without pay from the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
