FREDONIA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Hearts are full in Fredonia for a man who keeps gas tanks full. His name is Roy White, he's 64-years-old and has been working at Mancuso Service Center in Fredonia for 50 years.

"It's nice taking care of the old people. Treat people how you want to be treated," said White.

He's the kind of employee who never complains, never takes a sick day.

"I've known the guy probably 40 years. He's one of the best guys to ever help you," said Jim Shaw, a long-time customer.

Recently, White has been absent from the gas pump as he was diagnosed with cancer. This means a lot of travel from Fredonia to Roswell Park and the medical costs add up.

"We wanted to start something. A fundraiser or something," said Regina Willey, Co-Owner of Mancuso's.

So the owners started this GoFundMe page, which has raised more than $15,000. People also stop inside and donate cash. Altogether, they've collected more than $17,000.

"I was overwhelmed...Thank God good people are out there," said White.

He's now feeling much better and hopes to return to work soon.
