Community donations bring reward to $2,500 after kitten was thrown from car

GENESEE COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — The reward for information leading to the person who threw a kitten from a car is now up to $2,500.

On July 6th, someone in a red car threw the 8-week-old kitten onto Route 98 in Batavia. The kitten had to be euthanized because of its injuries.

A 7 Eyewitness News viewer sent us an e-mail they received from the Genesee County Animal Shelter after making a donation. The e-mail said they have received all $2,500 just from the community. That's $500 more since July 11th.
