Reward offered for information leading to arrest after kitten thrown from car in Batavia

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A kitten that was thrown from a vehicle in Batavia has been euthanized.

The Genesee County Animal Shelter posted the news to its Facebook page.

According to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, witnesses saw the kitten thrown from a red vehicle on Route 98 and West Saile Drive around 8:45pm Saturday. The animal suffered severe injuries.

The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help after a kitten was thrown out of a vehicle in Batavia.

The kitten was eight weeks-old female domestic shorthair brown tiger.

The group Volunteers for Animals and some community supporters are now offering a reward of $2.000 for information leading to an arrest and the conviction of the person responsible.
