BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Department of Public Works crews are beginning to plow Buffalo side streets Sunday morning, after Saturday's record breaking snowfall.

According to a DPW spokesperson, plow crews began working on side streets starting at 3 a.m. Sunday.

City officials are asking Buffalo residents to follow parking regulations to help crews with removing snow.

Vehicles parked on streets with 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. alternate side parking restrictions need to be moved by 9 a.m. Monday.

Sanitation and recycling pickup in the city will resume Sunday morning as well.
