RECORD BROKEN: Buffalo breaks snowfall record for December 26th with 18.4 inches of snow

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo has officially broken a snowfall record that's been around for 64 years.

The National Weather Service says the Buffalo Airport saw a whopping 18.4 inches of snow on Saturday.

The previous record set on December 26th, 1956 was 10.7 inches.

The snow caused several flights to be delayed or canceled at the airport.
