Making Strides Against Breast Cancer holding 'virtual event' next Saturday; here's how you can help

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — In previous years, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has held walks in Buffalo to raise money for breast cancer research.

This year due to COVID-19, the event is going to be held as a drive-thru to ensure participants can maintain social distancing.

The drive-thru, which is being called "Drive to Make Strides," happening from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 17th.

The drive-thru will take place at the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga in the parking lot near Regal Cinemas.

You are asked to deck out your car in pink and wear pink, but to stay in your car throughout the event. 7ABC is proud to sponsor Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and is inviting the community to donate to the cause here.
